I was recently inspired to throw an iced tea party for my girlfriends after a trip to North Carolina, because everywhere we went I was offered ‘sweet tea’. At first I thought… um NO! Doesn’t anyone notice that it’s HOT! Who wants tea in this weather? But once I saw the tilting, frosted-from-the-fridge glass pitcher pouring out that yummy cool liquid gold over clinking ice cubes I was in.
The deal had already been sealed before I tasted it – but oh! It was GOOD and, as the title promised, perfectly sweet!
(Well, maybe a little too-sweet, but it was the south, after all, and, ‘when in Rome…’)
So when I came home I invited all of my gals over for an afternoon of my organic version of “tea & treats”.
STEP ONE: THE TEA
I brewed up a batch of Organic Nirvana Tea and then chilled it in the fridge. Yup. You read that right.
